Getting ready for Isabelle's first trip

Isabelle is so excited to go on her first airplane ride tomorrow. As she doesn't have her own seat she toyed around with the idea of riding in Mommy's suitcase. Whist she certainly looks cosy we think we will take her in the cabin! We are taking long weekend on a Disney cruise with Tiffany's family. Pictures when we get back!

Tongue out of cheek

Couple of things this week. First we took Isabelle to her first high-school (American) football game. Our brother-in-law, Bill, coaches a local high school team who were playing their local rivals. Isabelle was so well bundled that she decided to switch between watching the game and napping (she get's that from her grandad). She awoke to loud booing from our stands when extremely poor officiating meant that Bill's team lost the game in the very last second. Below is Tiffany and Isabelle before the game.

Second. This past Thursday was Thanksgiving Day. We are reminded of how grateful we are to have such a special little girl in our lives. Isabelle has brought so much joy into our home. The late nights and dirty diapers are well worth it when we get to see her cheeky smile and babbling coos. We wonder what she will be like as she grows up, for me, I know that if she can but assume even half of Tiffany's attributes she'd be just fine! I am so thankful for Tiffany and Isabelle and hope that I can be the husband and father they deserve.

Now what's there not to love about this face?

Sleepy Little Rockstar

Isabelle loves to perch up and see what's going on all around her. I love to shoot pictures of her sitting up because she always looks so satisfied to be able to be a part of everything going on around her.

We're all tired these days and Isabelle loves to having someone sleeping right beside her. Put those two together and you get the following pictures.

Finally, Isabelle fancies herself as a rock star (must be all the watching Daddy play the guitar). We're thinking of putting her in for an air guitar competition.

Laughing and Learning

Isabelle has accomplished two milestones this week.

1. She found her belly laugh and kept us in stitches with her chuckling!
2. She finally learned how to pull her musical toy by herself.

We caught the evidence on tape for you all to enjoy. We also added some new pictures for good measure.

Isabelle gets to try out her swing in our backyard:

Isabelle enjoys her second bonfire. This time it's a little bit colder outside:

Isabelle just looking cute!

IzzyBoo's First Halloween

Izzy was our little Tootsie Roll for Halloween....Daddy's favorite treat! We got our money's worth out of the costume as she was able to wear it 3 times. Most of the time she looked like a nun with the hat around her face. At four months old, she wasn't able to tell us she hated it and she wasn't tugging at it to rip it off. She enjoyed her trick-or-treating experience with the Giles twins (one of them shown in the picture with Isabelle) and was upset that she couldn't REALLY dive in to the Tootsie Rolls she was trying to eat!
